WHAT WE DO

ENERGY ASSESSMENT:  TERP, LLC is a certified solar site assessor through the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA).  The first step in our process is to analyze your energy load and look at efficiency measures that can help you conserve energy.  A solar site assessment will then determine your site's potential for generating solar energy, how much of your energy load can be offset, and how quickly a system would be paid for through energy savings.  Most applications for financial incentives also require that you have an energy audit or site assessment. 

LED LIGHTING SOLUTIONS:  Using LED technology can help to reduce your lighting operation costs by approximately 90%.  For example, a 60-watt incandescent bulb can be generally be replaced by a 4- to 6-watt LED light.  We have LED lighting products for most residential lighting applications, and provide custom lighting solutions for custom and commercial applications.

SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS:   Once we are satisfied that we have addressed ENERGY EFFICIENCY FIRST, we can design a solar energy system to offset your energy load.  TERP, LLC warranties our designs and installations, and we can even provide extended maintenance and service contracts.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENTS:   Building envelope improvements such as insulation and windows can help you to conserve a great amount of energy.  TERP, LLC can manage these types of projects, and sometimes these improvements can be coordinated with a renewable energy system installation to save time and money.

GRANT and REBATE APPLICATIONS:   You may be eligible for incentives from entities like Focus on Energy, the USDA, Federal and State government, and utility providers.  Incentives can include grants, rebates and loans for energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy systems from various organizations.   In many instances, customers can receive up to 75% in financial incentives.

TERP, LLC is a Partner with Wisconsin's Focus on Energy, and we have entered into Trade Ally partnerships with Alliant Energy and ComEd.  These partnerships help TERP, LLC to maximize our customers’ eligibility for financial incentives.
